We don't talk about Maureen Dowd much at Quid. What can we say that hasn't been said so well by so many?   But one of us has been harboring an unwholesome fascination for MD. so we thought we'd offer up this trifling as a sop to the dark side.  She (Maureen, that is) has  recently been bumped down the NYT pecking order by her older, smarter, and, until recently, embittered older sister, Frank Rich.

Kay S. Hymowitz is wonderful and she has done a very good bio of Michael Moore, as well.  City Journal is a gem  that deserves a wider audience.
