Right after meeting with Jay Leno, John McCain whisked up to Chi-town to ask for a job pay homage collect on his winning election bet.  The NYT reports that Barack won't be depleting the Senate by this one Republican.  With the fix on in Minnesota, there's no need to shift every dem's bff from his well-worn seat in the world's most deliberative body.
