"So the point that I was making at the time was that the political
dynamic was the driving force between that sectarian violence. And we
could try to keep a lid on it, but if these underlining dynamic
continued to bubble up and explode the way they were, then we would be
in a difficult situation. I am glad that in fact those political
dynamic shifted at the same time that our troops did outstanding work."
Barack Obama, on why he was wrong about the surge; translators working feverishly to make this quote intelligible

Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 05:12PM As much as I am enjoying the Jerry Wright Brouhaha du jour, I don't think I'll put in my two cents worth on that one. Already the wordplay with his name has gone from clever to cliché. And he's so tedious. Lisping megalomaniacs always are. Whoops! Did I mention his speech impediment? It reminds me of a story I heard once about a famous country & western singer who had a terrible stutter who began singing as a way to get around the stutter. Jeri probably go his start hating America as a way to cover up the fact that he sounds light in the loafers. Overcompensation is the cause of much trouble in the world.
