The spiritual journey of a man and a nation.
Sheehan: Austin
-
Cindy Sheehan in Austin, April 2006 (14)
Ms. Sheehan, bored with the Camp Casey scene in a bar ditch outside Crawford, Texas, decides to take it on the road and brings her motley crew of Code Pinkers, Free Potters and sundry Sixties has-beens, retreads and wannabes to the home of Bevo and appropriately, the home of the largest urban population of actual bats (Mexican Freetail, not Moon.) This group, for all its diversity (?) had two unifying themes: hatred for George W. Bush and hatred for America. Don't let the flags fool you. Oh, make that three: and copious amounts of stupidity.
